The Deal Centre (Age Concern Deal Centre for the Retired Ltd) is a registered charity offering social opportunities for people aged over 50 and volunteers. It is a one-stop shop that offers services, activities, information and support to promote active ageing in an age-friendly environment.

  • Dementia Cafe

    If you have dementia or are caring for someone with dementia, come along to the local cafe at the Deal Centre on the third Wednesday of each month from 10.30 to 12.30.

  • Dementia Outreach Service

    Dementia Outreach Service for Carers, Deal and Sandwich Area. This service provides free one-to-one support, advice and information for the main carer in order that the stresses and strains associated with the role may be alleviated. For more information, please contact Gemma Cranthorne on 01304 372608 or
    Carers Lunch First Thursday of each month at The Deal Centre. 
    If you are caring for someone with dementia bring them along and join us once a month from 1.00 pm until 2.45 pm for a two-course meal followed by tea or coffee for £7.50. Our lunches are a great way to socialise and meet others who share similar life experiences.

  • Independent Living Support

    How can we help? We can assist you with household chores, transport to medical appointments or social activities, including preparation for social events in your home.We can take you shopping, do your shopping for you and deliver the items to your door or we can process internet shopping orders for delivery to you.
